Doula Training
This 20-hour workshop is a DONA approved course, which constitutes one of the steps toward becoming a
nationally certified Doula. Attending this workshop and completing the prerequisites qualifies participants
to apply for national certification through Doulas of North America (DONA).

This basic 4 hour course is required for birth and postpartum doula certification.
It will prepare doulas for providing information on breastfeeding and supporting the
mother immediately after birth, and for the first few weeks postpartum. Current videos
will be viewed, and supplementary materials are included.
